The Performance Gap

The Best Teams Train the Physical Game.
The Elite Ones Train the System Behind It.

Baseball and softball are nervous system sports. Every swing, every pitch, every at-bat starts in the brain and moves through the body via the nervous system. When that system is dysregulated, from stress, fatigue, pressure, or poor movement patterns, performance suffers, mechanics break down, and injury risk rises.

Most programs invest heavily in swing mechanics, pitching mechanics, strength, and conditioning. All of that matters. But the athletes who consistently perform when it counts, who stay healthy longer, recover faster, and compete at their best under pressure, have something most programs never train: a regulated, high-performing nervous system.

The Liminal Method closes that gap. It bridges the physical sciences, biomechanics, developmental kinesiology, breath mechanics, with the nervous system layer that controls all of them. The result is athletes who move better, recover faster, perform under pressure, and stay on the field.

For Players

What Your Athletes Will Walk Away With

This is a hands-on, fully experiential session. Players don't just learn, they feel the difference in their bodies before they leave the room. These are not concepts. These are tools.

Improved Mobility & Movement Quality

Players walk away moving better, immediately. Tracy's approach addresses the root structural and neurological reasons athletes feel stiff, restricted, or inefficient. This isn't just stretching. It's resetting the movement patterns the body defaults to, and replacing them with better ones.

More Power, Better Mechanics

Rotation starts with the nervous system. When players learn to breathe correctly, align structurally, and release chronic bracing patterns, their swing mechanics and throwing efficiency improve naturally, without changing the swing itself.

Injury Prevention That Lasts

Most overuse injuries in baseball and softball trace back to compensation patterns, the body doing extra work because something upstream isn't moving correctly. Tracy identifies those patterns and gives athletes practical tools to address them before they become injuries.

Stress & Pressure Regulation

The mental game is a nervous system game. Athletes learn simple, powerful tools they can use in the dugout, on-deck circle, or bullpen to stay calm, focused, and sharp under pressure, at-bats, close games, tryouts, showcases.

Faster Recovery

Between doubleheaders, long weekends, and back-to-back games, recovery matters. Players learn how to actively downregulate, how to turn off the stress response, so their bodies recover faster and they show up ready.

A Toolkit They Own

Every tool taught is designed for self-sufficiency. Players leave with techniques they can use independently, no equipment needed, anywhere, anytime. In the dugout. On the bus. In the weight room. At home.

What's Covered

Inside the Clinic Experience

Every session is fully kinesthetic and experiential. Tracy adapts the content to the sport (baseball or softball), the age of the athletes, and the specific performance goals of your program. No two clinics are identical.

Standard clinic sessions run approximately 3 hours for high school and older athletes. Younger athletes (middle school and below) receive sessions calibrated to their developmental readiness, typically 2 to 2.5 hours, with the same depth of impact.

Biomechanics & Structural Alignment

How posture and structural patterns directly affect swing mechanics, throwing efficiency, and overall movement quality. Players learn to feel the difference between braced, restricted movement and free, athletic movement.

Breathwork for Performance

Science-backed breathing protocols to calm pre-game nerves, sharpen focus, and accelerate recovery between innings and appearances. Specific applications for hitters, pitchers, catchers, and fielders.

Mobility Integration

Targeted movement sequences that address the most common mobility restrictions in baseball and softball athletes, hips, thoracic spine, shoulder girdle, and ankles. These aren't static stretches; they're dynamic, neurological resets.

Gait Shake™ & Developmental Humming

Proprietary tools from the UNFCK Your Nervous System™ method that release stored stress from the body in real time. Athletes can use these in warmup, between at-bats, or after a tough inning, and feel the difference immediately.

Nervous System Regulation On Demand

Practical techniques athletes can deploy anywhere, dugout, bullpen, on-deck circle, or at home before a big game. No equipment required. These are tools the body never forgets.

The Mind-Body-Energy Connection

An accessible, grounded introduction to how a player's internal state, the emotional and energetic layer beneath mechanics, affects every aspect of their game. This is the layer most coaches never address, and often where the biggest gains are hidden.

Recording

Capture It for Your Program

Sessions can be recorded by your own staff for internal use, allowing coaches to revisit the content, reinforce key tools with athletes throughout the season, and onboard players who missed the live experience.

Optional Add-On

Video-On-Demand Library Access

Teams can upgrade to ongoing access to Tracy's curated video-on-demand library, giving athletes and coaches the ability to continue the work independently between sessions, during travel, and throughout the competitive season.

For Coaches

What Coaches Gain

The Liminal Method is built to scale. Coaches leave every session with new language, new tools, and a new lens on player performance that they can apply all season long, without needing Tracy on-site to reinforce it.

Language to Reinforce the Work

Coaches leave with vocabulary and context to connect what Tracy teaches to what they already cue, helping athletes apply nervous system concepts to their sport-specific mechanics throughout the season.

Tools to Manage Team Energy

Understanding how nervous system state affects performance gives coaches a new lens. When a player's mechanics break down under pressure, it's rarely a technique issue, it's a regulation issue. Coaches learn to recognize the difference.

A Sharper, More Focused Team

Teams that experience the Liminal Method together develop a shared language around state, focus, and recovery. That cohesion pays dividends all season long.

Confidence in Player Durability

Coaches who invest in nervous system training early in the season consistently report fewer soft-tissue injuries, better resilience under fatigue, and athletes who can perform late in games and late in the season.

For Parents

Why Parents Value This Work

The Liminal Method teaches athletes skills that extend far beyond the field. Parents consistently report changes in how their athletes handle pressure, recover from setbacks, and carry themselves off the field.

Tools Their Athlete Can Use at Home

The techniques Tracy teaches don't require a gym, a trainer, or special equipment. Parents can reinforce the work at home and watch their athlete practice regulation on their own.

Reduced Injury Risk

Parents of baseball and softball players know the fear of overuse injuries, elbow, shoulder, hip. Nervous system-informed movement reduces the compensation patterns that lead to those injuries.

A Mentally Stronger Athlete

Performance anxiety, slumps, and pressure situations don't have to derail a season. The tools Tracy teaches help young athletes manage their internal state, and that carries into school, relationships, and life beyond the field.

Real Return on Development Investment

Parents invest heavily in lessons, training, and showcases. A regulated nervous system makes all of that investment more effective, the body can actually absorb and retain new skills when it's not in chronic stress.

Professional Recommendation

What Coaches Are Saying

From a program that went injury-free and won their first D2 National Championship.

I highly recommend Tracy Tanguay (aka MobilityChick) for any program looking to elevate athlete performance, durability, and overall physical and mental readiness. Her work is not only high-quality, but also highly adaptable, making it effective for athletes at every level, from beginners to more advanced competitors.

We implemented her program for 12 weeks during our 2023 season, and the results were undeniable. Our team remained injury-free and went on to win our first Division II National Championship. Her impact was a critical component of that success.

What truly separates Tracy is her ability to take complex principles and translate them into clear, actionable instruction. She doesn't just tell athletes what to do, she teaches them why it matters. That understanding leads to more intentional movement, improved body awareness, and long-term athlete buy-in.

Just as important, she brings an energy and sense of humor that makes every session engaging and something athletes genuinely look forward to. She has a unique ability to push athletes while keeping the environment positive and enjoyable, something that's critical for consistency over time.

Tracy brings a rare combination of expertise, communication skill, and genuine investment in the people she works with. If you are looking to enhance athlete longevity, reduce injury risk, and maximize performance, Tracy is an invaluable resource.
